Monitor Calibration
To best view the images on this site, I have set up a simple test/calibration page to guide you to a close approximation of the correct contrast and brightness settings. This page also provides a quick way to adjust the viewing angle on LCD monitors.
The image below contains a row 24 shades of grey from white to black. You should be able to see all individual tiles on this image. The darkest area should be made as dark as possible while still being able to distinguish it from the next lighter shade.
* please note that this is a very coarse method and is only presented as rough guidance towards the appropriate settings.
